SalesAccount Executive

Join a distributed consulting team helping organizations unlock the full value of their digital assets and enterprise information. In this role, you will contribute to complex data migration, transformation, and integration projects across a range of industries. You will combine technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and client collaboration to design solutions that improve how organizations manage and use their content. Your work may also involve researching and prototyping emerging approaches, including AI-powered metadata generation and workflow automation. Depending on your seniority, you may take ownership of technical project delivery, guide other consultants, and shape delivery standards. This is an opportunity to work remotely with experienced professionals in an environment that values curiosity, continuous improvement, and diverse perspectives.

You will support clients throughout the technical lifecycle of digital asset management (DAM) and enterprise platform projects, from discovery and solution design through implementation, migration, and validation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support DAM implementation, configuration, integration, and data migration projects for clients across different industries.

  • Research, design, and prototype innovative asset management solutions, including AI-powered metadata generation and workflow automation.

  • Analyze and map data structures to ensure accurate transformation and alignment between legacy and target systems.

  • Develop and execute repeatable technical workflows that combine automation, scripting, and manual processes where appropriate.

  • Extract, transform, and load digital assets and metadata from legacy platforms using APIs, database exports, and file-system crawls.

  • Develop metadata crosswalks, normalize data against controlled vocabularies, and identify duplicate assets.

  • Work with embedded metadata formats and tools to preserve and validate asset information.

  • Collaborate with platform vendors, IT teams, developers, and client stakeholders to improve integrations and system performance.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues by reviewing API documentation, logs, and system behavior, then communicate findings and requirements clearly.

  • Conduct quality assurance and validation of migrated data, integrations, and system functionality.

  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and inform data governance, workflows, and technical decisions.

  • Provide technical recommendations based on industry practices, emerging technologies, and client needs.

  • Share knowledge, contribute to continuous improvement, and help refine internal methodologies and delivery practices.

  • Occasionally travel to client sites to provide hands-on implementation support and training.

  • For Senior Consultant-level candidates, additional responsibilities include:

    • Lead technical workstreams for migrations, integrations, and other project activities, overseeing scope, budgets, timelines, delivery approaches, resource allocation, and client communication.

    • Define and oversee technical architecture and delivery strategies for enterprise projects.

    • Guide, train, and support other project team members and technical contributors.

    • Develop and document processes, procedures, tools, and best practices for future engagements.

    • Contribute to business development through prospect discussions and the preparation of technical scopes of work and proposals.

Candidates should bring strong technical problem-solving skills, a structured approach to complex data challenges, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in Digital Asset Management is welcome but not mandatory. The required qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated experience building and executing the technical side of at least one enterprise platform migration, such as DAM, CMS, PIM, ERP, or CRM.

  • Practical experience developing scripts or repeatable processes to extract, transform, and load assets and metadata at scale. Manual uploads, spreadsheet cleanup, or quality checks on migrations performed by others are not sufficient on their own.

  • Experience extracting data from legacy systems through APIs, database exports, or file-system crawls.

  • Ability to create and implement field-level metadata crosswalks and work confidently with Excel, Google Sheets, CSV, JSON, and XML.

  • Experience normalizing metadata against controlled vocabularies and deduplicating digital assets.

  • Familiarity with embedded metadata formats such as XMP, IPTC, and EXIF, including tools such as ExifTool.

  • Ability to verify migration completeness and integrity through checksums, record counts, and reconciliation reports.

  • Proficiency in Python, including writing production-quality scripts that interact with REST APIs and support digital asset transfers and data transformations.

  • SQL skills for querying and validating relational data.

  • Experience working with shared GitHub repositories, including branches, pull requests, and code reviews.

  • Practical experience in at least one major cloud environment: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Ability to troubleshoot integrations between enterprise platforms by interpreting API documentation and logs, testing endpoints, identifying failures, and documenting technical requirements or defects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

  • Adaptability, attention to detail, sound judgment, curiosity, and a collaborative approach to working with clients and colleagues.

  • Cultural awareness and an appreciation for diverse perspectives and experiences.

  • Additional requirements for Senior Consultant candidates:

    • Experience designing and specifying integrations between enterprise systems using REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, and API keys.

    • Ability to define integration requirements and data contracts, document sequences of API calls, error handling, and monitoring, and validate the resulting implementation.

    • Experience delivering at least one enterprise platform migration end to end while owning its technical design, tooling choices, effort estimates, and coordination of engineers or subcontractors.

    • Experience scoping and estimating technical work for proposals or statements of work.

    • Contributions to improving delivery practices through templates, tools, or documented processes.

    • Preferred qualifications include:

      • Experience with enterprise DAM platforms such as Orange Logic or Aprimo, including metadata models, taxonomies, asset and rendition structures, bulk tooling, or hands-on configuration.

      • Working knowledge of JavaScript.

      • Previous experience as a DAM consultant, DAM manager, DAM application developer, or in a comparable position.

      • Deeper cloud expertise, including secure bulk asset transfers, least-privilege identity and access management, secrets management, serverless computing, and awareness of storage, egress, and compute costs.

      • Familiarity with iPaaS or middleware platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Power Automate, or Zapier.

      • Experience with cloud AI services such as Amazon Rekognition and Transcribe, Azure AI Vision and Speech, Google Vertex AI and Gemini, or large language model APIs for metadata generation.

      • Practical understanding of AI accuracy, limitations, and appropriate validation practices.

      • Experience using AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot to accelerate development while reviewing and verifying generated code.

      • Knowledge of digital media formats, rendition workflows, image, video, and audio codecs, and tools such as FFmpeg and ImageMagick.

      • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.

      • Data visualization skills, with the ability to turn technical findings into clear and compelling client-facing visuals.

        • Consultant: $85,000–$115,000 annually.

        • Senior Consultant: $100,000–$140,000 annually.

        • Full-time W-2 employment.

        • Fully remote work for candidates located in the United States, with the flexibility to work from anywhere within the country.

        • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including options with 100% of employee premiums paid.

        • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.

        • 401(k) plan with an employer contribution of 3%, regardless of employee contributions, with immediate vesting.

        • Profit-sharing opportunities.

        • A manageable workload supported by limits on the number of concurrent consulting projects.

        • A culture that encourages taking vacation and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

        • Professional development budget for conferences, courses, workshops, books, and subscriptions.

        • Opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues, share knowledge, and continuously develop technical expertise.

        • An inclusive working environment that values different backgrounds, identities, perspectives, and experiences.
