As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide support to Advanced Communications customers, service and sales team. This person will handle important administrative tasks related to customer service, sales and lead generation and service dispatching. This person will provide a point of contact for customers with questions about orders, deliveries, associated timelines, etc., and the ability to problem solve. This person’s contributions to quality customer service will aid Advanced Communications Las Cruces Branch to meet its goals. This person will also aid in accomplishing daily tasks associated with Branch Management. You will also provide quality and efficient customer service to all Advanced Communications customers, both external and internal.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record all significant information.
- Address problems and customer requests by sharing information with the appropriate resource(s).
Coordinate with team members on sales process, assist with quoting, processing orders, assign technical resources, update customers, and ship products.
- Receive and schedule resources for service calls and installations.
- Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and record of calls, activities and other relevant information.
- Provide follow-up calls to customers as part of customer service.
Communicate with customers on order status information.
Responsible for answering and responding to incoming customer calls/inquiries.
Respond to correspondence that may come through via mail, phone calls, e-mail and/or fax.
Support sales operations on returns and exchanges.
Aid in improving existing sales/service processes and developing new ones as necessary.
Assists customers and troubleshoots questions, issues, complaints, and inquiries related to products and services sold, repairs, and/or order status. Often requires extensive research and interaction with various departments to resolve problems.
May be asked to participate in special projects related to the department.
Perform administrative and office clerical duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Some level of a college education is preferred, but not required.
Must work with accuracy and with great attention to detail.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Grammar skills (both verbal and written).
Good aptitude for solving customer service issues.
Exercises professional telephone procedures and e-mail correspondence skills.
Ability to work as a team player.
The candidate must have enthusiasm for customer service and understand the requirements of genuine customer commitment.
Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
