About the Role

Culmen is hiring a Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (DME) Specialist to support our work onsite in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

 

Position is located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Responsibilities

The DME Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing the program, including tool development, data collection, and field supervision, to generate high-quality evidence on program performance and outcomes.

 

The role will perform an audit of existing EUM protocols, investigate process weaknesses, and suggesting improvements.

 

The DME Specialist will review, clean, validate, and analyze large amounts of data, ensuring data integrity and readiness for decision-making and external reporting.

 

The DME Specialist prepares clear, funder-ready analytical reports and professional data visualizations that translate complex findings into actionable insights and demonstrate results against agreed indicators and targets.

 

Role requires working in a dynamic or high-risk environment where adaptability, discretion, and operational security are paramount.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in process mapping, auditing, data analysis, and/or monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience in assessing risks, reviewing internal controls and procedures, identifying process weaknesses and inefficiencies, with a preference for experience in auditing property accountability
  • Data analysis/administration background
  • Due to U.S. government security clearance requirements, you must have U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Fluency in English, proficiency in French and/or French Creole preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven ability to produce clear, concise written reports and presentations in English
  • Able and licensed to drive armored vehicles.
  • Receptive to living in-country (Housing provided)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
