Key Responsibilities 

  • Prospect for new commercial customers through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, referrals, and other creative methods. 

  • Identify businesses that could benefit from spring water delivery, bottled water, water coolers, and filtration systems. 

  • Develop relationships with business owners, office managers, facility managers, property managers, and other key decision makers. 

  • Schedule and conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations. 

  • Prepare quotes and proposals based on customer needs. 

  • Follow up consistently with prospects and move qualified leads through the sales process. 

  • Meet or exceed established sales and new account goals. 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial customers. 

  • Regularly check in with accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional needs. 

  • Look for opportunities to increase account value through additional products, services, locations, or filtration solutions. 

  • Work closely with the delivery and service team to ensure customers receive excellent service. 

  • Address customer concerns professionally and work with management to resolve issues quickly. 

  • Develop a strong understanding of the local commercial market and identify high-potential businesses and industries. 

  • Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and follow-ups. 

  • Participate in local networking events, business organizations, and community activities when appropriate. 

  • Develop referral relationships with businesses and other professionals. 

  • Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the company's CRM or sales tracking system. 

The primary focus will be commercial accounts, including businesses such as: 

  • Offices and professional buildings 

  • Medical and dental offices 

  • Manufacturing and industrial facilities 

  • Warehouses and distribution centers 

  • Restaurants and hospitality businesses 

  • Gyms and fitness facilities 

  • Schools and childcare facilities 

  • Property management companies 

  • Auto dealerships and service centers 

  • Construction companies and job sites 

  • Retail businesses 

  • Multi-location businesses 

  • Other organizations with ongoing water delivery or filtration needs 

The successful candidate will be: 

  • Highly motivated and comfortable working independently. 

  • Outgoing, personable, and confident meeting new people. 

  • A strong communicator and relationship builder. 

  • Comfortable making cold calls and walking into businesses to introduce themselves. 

  • Persistent without being overly aggressive. 

  • Organized and capable of managing multiple prospects and follow-ups. 

  • Customer-focused with a strong desire to provide excellent service. 

  • Comfortable discussing products, pricing, and solutions with business owners and decision makers. 

  • Self-motivated and accountable for achieving sales goals. 

  • Professional and dependable. 

  • Comfortable driving throughout the local service area. 

Previous outside sales or B2B sales experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has the personality, work ethic, and drive to succeed.
