Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide daily support across all functional areas of Human Resources while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies
- →Promote employee engagement through regular interaction with team members, including shop floor presence, meetings, and open communication
- →Administer and communicate company policies, procedures, and programs clearly and consistently
- →Support management in the implementation of progressive disciplinary actions
- →Address employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, schedules, uniforms, and other HR-related topics
- →Monitor and reconcile authorized versus actual headcount to ensure accuracy
- →Coordinate the internal job posting and selection process, including interviews and candidate evaluations
- →Maintain accurate and confidential personnel, medical, and I-9 records
- →Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities
- →Manage unemployment claims, including timely submissions and representation during hearings and appeals
- →Process employee separations, including documentation and exit interviews
- →Conduct and document internal investigations in a fair and consistent manner
- →Ensure compliance with I-9 requirements, including reverification processes
- →Serve as a liaison between employees and management to support effective communication
- →Participate in and promote company safety initiatives and programs
- →Assist with employee recognition and appreciation events
- →Support timekeeping and attendance processes to ensure accurate payroll
- →Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–3 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking ability
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
