Administrative Assistant / Mental Health Worker

Administrative professionals are encouraged to consider a full-time Office Assistant position with Liberty Healthcare.

Liberty Healthcare operates a 10-bed psychiatric unit which serves adults who are justice-involved and experiencing acute mental illness.

The unit is located within the Maguire Correctional Facility – a San Mateo County jail.

As Liberty’s Office Assistant your day-to-day work will involve:

• →Providing administrative support to Liberty’s Director and mental health team

• →Organizing patient charts, electronic files, and other health data

• →Scheduling appointments and meetings

• →Composing and editing letters, memoranda, forms, and reports

• →Communicating with corporate office staff, jail custody staff, court officials, and other stakeholders

• →Assisting with various projects

• →Taking the initiative to find ways to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the program staff

• →Providing individualized evidence-based treatment to patients in accordance with the treatment plan

• →Providing activity and recreational based activities to patients

• →Supporting clinical staff as needed

You will work onsite at the Maguire Correctional Facility at 300 Bradford Street in Redwood City, CA 94063.

You will work 32 hours a week, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
