The office manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the general administrative functions and will organize and coordinate office procedures, including providing direction, oversight and management of other office staff. This position will coordinate with management and is responsible for representing the organization in communicating and coordinating with outside vendors and customers.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Oversees the administrative staff in the office to include, scheduling time and reprioritizing job duties
- →Works with customer and client inquiries to direct them to relevant staff to assist with their needs
- →Create an office budget and ensuring all employees follow it
- →Monitoring office supplies and ordering of additional supplies ensuring budget is maintained
- →new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required
- →Interviews, trains and mentors office employees
- →Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order
- →Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures
- →Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an office environment, with at least 2 years experience managing others
- Accounting or business degree or applicable work experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Ability to work and direct the work of others professionally and equitably
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong math skills
- Multi-tasking capabilities
- Exceptional communication both verbally and written
- Outstanding customer service skills
