Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Oliver Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

 

About the Role

  • Prospect and win new group and event business across high-potential markets
  • Build and carry out strategic sales plans to hit revenue and room night goals
  • Grow existing accounts and build relationships that keep clients coming back
  • Lead site inspections and present tailored, persuasive proposals
  • Handle complex, high-value inquiries with speed and precision
  • Track market trends and competitor activity to find new opportunities and sharpen strategy
  • Work closely with the events, operations and revenue management teams
  • Keep accurate client records, communications and reports in the CRM and sales systems
  • Manage each event from booking to follow-up: pre-event planning, onsite support and post-event follow-up
  • Make sure every event matches client expectations, brand standards and what the hotel can deliver
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, sales meetings and property meetings

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hotel sales experience (required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to work independently
  • Proven skill in negotiating, presenting and closing
  • Experience with CRM, reservation and revenue management systems
  • Experience with Marriott systems
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while delivering excellent service
  • A competitive drive and a collaborative, professional approach
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
