Launched in 2022, MavieMe has grown into a leading at-home health check company in the DACH region. While our focus to date has been on B2C, we are now entering an exciting new phase and are looking for an experienced Business Development & Sales Lead to build out our B2B business. The role is initially structured as a fixed-term maternity cover of approximately 12–18 months (potentially up to two years), with the possibility of longer-term collaboration depending on business needs and performance as we continue to scale our B2B offering.
At MavieMe, we empower people to take control of their health through convenient at-home diagnostic testing. Our product portfolio includes blood biomarker testing, gut microbiome analysis, allergen screening, and salivary cortisol tests. Each test is supported by clear, actionable, and easy-to-understand reports.
We currently operate in Austria and Germany, with the ambition to become Europe’s leading “health from home” brand.
Responsibilities
~1 min readResearch and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, distribution channels, growth areas, trends, and partnerships.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and other pro-active outreach efforts.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Continuously analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Translate insights into actionable recommendations for the leadership team
Support strategic decision-making with data-driven input
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the health and wellbeing industry in DACH.
Strong understanding of the health and wellness market, including key players and trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable strategies.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Fluent in German and English.

Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Our salary range for this position starts at 70.000 €. Based on your experience and qualifications, our final offer will be a competitive market value-based salary with a significant OTE.
