Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to provide\r\nprofessional administrative support services for the Data Management Unit\r\nrelated to incarcerated individuals records, facility population counts, audits\r\nand individual system access requirements. This will include the assisting,\r\ncoordinating, compiling and processing data in accordance with the\r\nresponsibilities assigned to the Data Management Unit. This position acts as\r\nthe incarcerated individual locator for the public and various state agencies\r\nvia, phone email and fax correspondences. Processing of local agency\r\nreimbursement of jail bills received for incarcerated individuals maintained in\r\ntheir facilities. This position also assists with the preparation of training\r\nmaterials and classes hosted by the data management unit.\r\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:\r\nGraduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school\r\nequivalency certificate.\r\nExperience:\r\nOne year of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical\r\ntechnical, or secretarial work.\r\nNotes:\r\n1.\r\nCandidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or\r\nuniversity for the required experience.\r\n\r\n\r\n2.\r\nCandidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a\r\nnon-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of\r\nindependent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and\r\nregulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year\r\nbasis for the required experience.\r\n

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the\r\nfollowing preferred qualifications. Include clear and specific information on\r\nyour application regarding your qualifications.\r\n\r\n\r\n Experience utilizing Microsoft Office or similar software\r\n to analyze and compile data and prepare reports and other documents. \r\n Experience providing customer service in an office setting.\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n

Candidates may be responsible for providing their own transportation�as needed to access meetings, remote locations, and job destinations as assigned.\r\n
