Role Responsibilities:
The M&A Business Development & Relationship Manager will spearhead outbound deal origination and cultivate relationships with private equity partners and business owners. Suited for experienced investment bankers, private equity associates, or M&A professionals seeking an entrepreneurial environment with increased income control and the opportunity to participate in company building.
- Outbound Sales: Utilize platforms such as Instantly and Pipedrive to identify, engage, and qualify potential business owners.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with private equity firms, ensuring consistent communication and accountability to maximize strategic introductions.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and manage the Business Development function as the company expands.
Candidate Profile:
- Interpersonal Acumen: Exceptional telephone etiquette, strong rapport-building capabilities, and proficiency in conducting high-value conversations.
- Financial Expertise: Background in M&A, private equity, or investment banking, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of deal structures and value propositions.
- Proactive Initiative: Thrives in an entrepreneurial setting, capable of taking ownership, establishing processes, and operating with agility.
- Strategic Vision: Goes beyond numerical targets, focusing on continuous process improvement to enhance the effectiveness and value of introductions.
Qualifications:
