Sales and Relationship Management: • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. • Present and demonstrate products and services to potential clients, highlighting technical features and benefits. • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets. Technical Expertise: • Utilize technical knowledge to understand client needs and provide customized solutions. • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to inform business strategies. Strategic Planning: • Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company goals. • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement. • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and client feedback. Team Collaboration: • Work closely with the company's Kenya office to align business development efforts with overall company objectives Customer Service: • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Gather and analyze client feedback to improve products and services. Requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role, with a strong sales track record. • Experience in construction business materials (hotel projects in Zanzibar) and Food &Beverage industries • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills: • Experience in construction business materials. • Fluent in English and Kiswahili • Knowledge of drainage systems and waste/water treatment systems • Leadership and team management skills. • Creative thinking and innovation.
