- Manage core People Operations functions, including onboarding, offboarding, and time off administration
- Support employee relations discussions in partnership with the People Partner Team, guiding internal conversations, mitigating risk, and resolving conflicts
- Support the deployment of various People Team policies, procedures, and initiatives, including but not limited to performance management, internal mobility, recruitment and hiring needs, compliance and learning and development.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data and internal documentation across People systems (e.g., Rippling, Sparrow, Envoy)
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a seamless and productive workplace experience for employees across hybrid and in-office environments
- Partner with Workplace Experience to manage office vendors, supplies, seating, and space planning to support team growth and collaboration
- Coordinate and execute in-office events, team gatherings, and employee engagement initiatives that promote Vestwell’s culture
- Act as the primary point of contact for office-related needs, including facilities issues, employee requests, and general workplace support
- Support budget tracking and expense management related to office operations, vendors, and employee experience initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve the in-office experience and align workplace operations with employee needs and company growth

- 4-6 years of Human Resources / People Operations experience, preferably at a high-growth tech company/start-up
- Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics
- Ability to manage both operational/administrative and strategic people team initiatives
- High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
- Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization

This role will be based in our Phoenix office and will be part of Vestwell's hybrid in-office operation.
The expected base salary range for this position is $95K - $110K base. This position is eligible to participate in the Company Bonus Pool and is eligible to receive new hire equity in the Company. Please note that salary bands are based on NY and other similar metro areas and may differ based on where the role is ultimately hired.

Next steps can vary by role, but the usual next steps are a skill or experience screen (e.g. a coding interview for an Engineer, a portfolio review for a Designer, deeper experience call for other roles) which leads to a virtual or in-person interview panel after that if the screens go well. Before making an offer, our interview process concludes with a references check stage for your recruiter to meet with a current or former supervisor and peer.
