We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work within the Commission Appeals department located at our main downtown location at 101 E. 15th Street, Austin, Texas.

WHO YOU ARE:
The Administrative Assistant III will have the experience to perform complex (journey-level) administrative support work. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment, meets deadlines and has an attention for detail.
 
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
- Prepare and disseminate information concerning agency programs and services.
- Review forms for accuracy with an acute attention to detail
- Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, studies, forms, and documents.
- Answer phones and professionally respond to email inquiries
- Interpret rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Enter data in data bases and Excel spreadsheets.
- Proof, review, and prepare various documents for processing or mailing
- Perform other related work as assigned.

YOU QUALIFY WITH:
- Two years of full-time experience that provided knowledge of administrative support functions and office practices and procedures, or clerical administration and business management practices, such as preparation, maintenance, and control of forms, records and reports.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
- One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as an Administrative Assistant II with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications

- Ability to interact effectively, cooperate and collaborate with others in a team environment, multi-task and meet deadlines.
