Responsibilities
~1 min readIn this role, you’ll be at the heart of MAF’s document management system, producing, editing, and formatting controlled documents, including manuals, policies, and forms, using a range of specialist editing software.
You’ll manage the document change process, issue revisions, and maintain our intranet-based repositories to ensure teams have access to the latest, most accurate information.
You’ll also provide vital support to document controllers across the organisation—liaising with technical authors, helping new document controllers get up to speed. Quality control will be key: you’ll proofread, cross-reference, and check formats to ensure every document is precise and compliant.
Beyond documents, you’ll assist the QSS department with stakeholder meetings, training events, and other administrative tasks. You’ll also have opportunities to provide guidance, troubleshoot system issues, and help maintain global standards for MAF programmes.
Availability to attend weekly team meetings outside regular office hours

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with a passion for producing high-quality, accurate, and compliant documentation.
Experience in document control, editing, or publishing, ideally with technical manuals, policies, or other controlled publications.
Comfortable using a range of editing software, with an understanding of version control and controlled distribution.
Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements related to documentation (aviation, safety, or organisational standards).
Able to communicate clearly and collaboratively with teams across multiple countries and time zones.
A proactive team player who can mentor and support others, provide guidance, and step into roles where needed.
