Assist Corps Officer with general office operations.

Responsibilities

  • →Manage Front Desk
  • →Assist with Correspondence
  • →Assist with Social Service Scheduling
  • →Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees in a warm and courteous manner.
  • →Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • →Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
  • →Provide accurate and up-to-date information to inquiries about the company, its services, and its employees.
  • →Handle and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently.
  • →Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room reservations.
  • →Maintain and update visitor logs, security protocols, and access control systems.
  • →Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • →Manage office supplies, restocking items as needed and maintaining inventory.
  • →Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • →Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all visitors.
  • →Provide support to other departments as required.
  • →Make sure all donation go directly to the Corps Officers.
  • →Keep track of all Gifts in Kind donations for Corps Officers to send to DHQ.
  • →Refer clients to local agencies providing needed assistance.
  • →Monitor and order office supplies, restocking items as needed and maintaining inventory.
  • →Assist in event planning and coordination for company functions.
  • →Assist Officers with Thank You letters to donors.
  • →Assist in scheduling clients for the food pantry daily.
  • →Any other reasonable request made by Corps Officers

  • Requirements

    ~1 min read
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
    • Effective written and oral communication skills
    • Proficient knowledge of computers, word/excel/publisher
    • Good planning and follow through skills
    • Ability to work numerous projects simultaneously
    • Able to work independently or in group
