The University of Dayton invites qualified applicants to apply for our Senior Administrative Assistant opening within our Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position offering health and dental insurance, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance and more. Apply today! This position will provide administrative support to the department chair and faculty of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work. This includes developing and managing main office administrative functions that allow the department to run efficiently and smoothly, assisting in all logistical aspects of departmental event planning and execution, hiring, supervising, and training undergraduate student employees, providing personal, e-mail, and telephone reception to a wide constituency, and assisting with the maintenance of marketing materials for student recruitment. The position will also monitor all departmental-wide budget and purchasing, including restricted funds and gift/endowment funds. The administrative assistant will also regularly interact with and support students, therefore contributing to their overall satisfaction with the department. |
