Your Role
As an HR Operations Assistant, you play an important role in keeping enviolo’s HR operations running smoothly day-to-day. You help take care of the behind‑the‑scenes HR work that supports our people throughout their journey at enviolo, making sure data, documentation, and systems are accurate and up to date.
This role is a great fit if you’re early in your HR career and enjoy practical, hands‑on work. You’ll work closely with the HR Manager, gaining exposure to the full range of HR operational activities while building a strong foundation in HR processes within an international organization.
What You’ll Be Doing
HR Administration & People Lifecycle Support
- Help prepare and manage onboarding and offboarding administration for new and departing colleagues
- Keep people records, contracts, amendments, and HR documentation well organized and up to date
- Track contract end dates and support the contract renewal process
- Be a first point of contact for everyday HR‑related questions from our people
HR Systems & Data Maintenance
- Keep HR systems accurate by updating people information when changes occur
- Maintain digital HR folders, documentation, and access rights
- Support simple HR reports and data checks
- Assist with audits and compliance-related information when needed
Absence & Leave Administration
- Register sickness and leave accurately in HR systems
- Support absence reporting and basic administrative follow‑up
- Help prepare documentation for parental and statutory leave
Payroll, Finance & Vendor Administration Support
- Support payroll preparation by collecting and checking monthly input
- Help respond to people questions about payslips and payments
- Maintain administrative records related to benefits, bonuses, and pensions
- Track HR-related invoices and support basic financial administration
- Help maintain oversight of HR vendors and related contracts, ensuring documentation is up to date
Recruitment & HR Support
- Support recruitment administration such as scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
- Keep recruitment trackers up to date and ensure candidate data is handled correctly
- Assist with job posting administration and HR @@
Office Management Support (As Needed)
- Provide occasional administrative support to office management activities when required, ensuring continuity when our Office Manager is out of office
What We’re Looking For
You are someone who:
- Enjoys structured, organized work and paying attention to details
- Is comfortable working with confidential information and handles it with care
- Communicates clearly and enjoys working with different people
- Is dependable, proactive, and motivated to learn and grow
Experience & Skills
- Some experience in HR administration, operations, office support, or a similar role (internships or junior roles are very welcome)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English
- Comfortable working with systems and data; experience with HRIS or payroll systems is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
- Able to work independently while following clear processes
Practical Requirements
- Availability for 24 or 32 hours per week
- Living in or close to Amsterdam
- Legal right to work in the EU
- Willing to work at least three days per week from enviolo’s HQ in Amsterdam
