Mailroom Specialist

FirstCash is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Mailroom Specialist to join our operations team. In this role, you will process a high volume of incoming shipments in a secure, fast-paced environment. Your work will be essential in ensuring valuable merchandise is accurately received, documented, and prepared for the next stage of processing.

The ideal candidate is reliable, focused, and committed to maintaining high levels of accuracy while meeting daily productivity goals. This hands-on position involves opening packages, verifying contents, maintaining records, and following established security procedures.

• →Receive, sort, and process incoming shipments and packages.
• →Open packages and inspect contents with care and accuracy.
• →Verify shipment contents against supporting documentation and identify discrepancies.
• →Maintain accurate inventory records, counts, and tracking information.
• →Follow established security, handling, and chain-of-custody procedures.
• →Safeguard valuable merchandise and maintain accountability throughout the receiving process.
• →Report damaged, missing, or improperly prepared shipments.
• →Keep work areas organized, clean, and efficient.
• →Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
• →Perform repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail.
• →Comply with all company safety, security, and operational policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Comfortable following detailed procedures and security protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a mailroom, warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory control, fulfillment, or similar environment is preferred.
• Experience handling high-value merchandise is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Must successfully pass all required background and security screenings.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to regularly lift and move packages up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment for extended periods.
