SalesSales Development Rep

Our client is a premium residential cleaning company serving busy professionals in Manhattan, New York. The company provides high-quality apartment cleaning services using background-checked cleaning professionals, eco-friendly supplies, flexible next-day and same-week availability, and a commitment to consistently delivering excellent results.

The company is looking for a driven Business Development Representative to build its client base from the ground up, with a particular focus on creating recurring business through relationships with short-term rental operators, real estate professionals, property managers, and complementary service providers.

The Business Development Representative will own outbound prospecting and help build a new B2B client base from the ground up.

There is no inherited pipeline in this role. The successful candidate will research prospects, build contact lists, conduct daily phone and email outreach, manage persistent multi-touch follow-up, and develop relationships that generate recurring cleaning opportunities.

This is a true outbound sales position rather than a general virtual assistant role. The majority of the day will be spent identifying prospects, getting decision-makers on the phone, following up consistently, and creating new business opportunities.

The company will provide a structured sales playbook, scripts, email templates, objection-handling guidance, follow-up sequences, recommended lead sources, and ongoing coaching. The successful candidate will bring the persistence, resourcefulness, and sales discipline required to execute the system consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a weekly sales scorecard each Friday summarizing activity, responses, opportunities, and results.

  • Maintain clear visibility into the developing sales pipeline.

  • Send review requests following completed cleaning services.

  • Encourage satisfied customers to share their experiences.

  • Help strengthen the company's online reputation and social proof.

  • Identify opportunities for referrals and repeat business from existing relationships.

  • Follow established scripts, email templates, objection-handling frameworks, and sales processes.
