In this role, you will oversee end-to-end sales development operations, driving pipeline growth and strengthening the effectiveness of outbound sales strategies. You will recruit, develop, and motivate Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will also champion AI-driven innovation by introducing intelligent automation and agent-powered workflows to improve prospect research, outreach personalization, and team productivity. As Manager, Sales Development, you will lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise sales development activities. You will be responsible for building a strong team, optimizing outbound processes, and ensuring consistent pipeline generation.

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives, supporting their professional development and long-term success.

  • Establish performance objectives, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting processes to monitor productivity and maximize team performance.

  • Motivate and coach SDRs through regular one-on-one meetings, performance feedback, incentives, and development plans.

  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI into sales development operations, designing and deploying agent-powered workflows for prospect research, personalized outreach, lead qualification, and sales sequences.

  • Train and support team members in adopting AI-driven tools and automation to improve productivity and pipeline quality.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Sales, Client Partner, Marketing, and lead-generation teams to align strategies and optimize lead and pipeline creation.

  • Oversee prospecting activities, including outbound cold calling, email campaigns, lead qualification, and opportunity development within targeted enterprise accounts.

  • Guide SDRs in communicating the organization's value proposition, engaging prospective clients, identifying business opportunities, and generating interest.

  • Ensure qualified opportunities are effectively transferred to the appropriate sales representatives, with clear recommendations and follow-up actions.

  • Assign, delegate, monitor, and evaluate team responsibilities while maintaining strong communication across a distributed workforce.

  • Participate in client calls alongside SDRs to provide practical coaching and improve sales effectiveness.

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, team expansion, hiring, and internal promotion processes.

  • Maintain an active leadership presence through regular virtual meetings and ongoing collaboration with team members.
