The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel, enabling efficient day-to-day execution and overall effectiveness. This role manages complex calendars, coordinates meetings and communications, and handles highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Serving as a trusted partner, the Executive Assistant anticipates needs, prioritizes competing demands, and supports key initiatives and projects. The role is essential in fostering strong internal collaboration, maintaining organizational efficiency, and ensuring a professional, seamless executive experience both internally and externally.
Responsibilities

- →Coordinates calendars; schedules meetings and conference calls
- →Prepares for and provides support for high-level meetings as necessary
- →Small event planning as necessary
- →Responsible for maintaining highly confidential and time-sensitive information
- →Coordinates executive communications, including taking calls and responding to emails
- →Makes travel arrangements and coordinates with other executives as appropriate
- →Prepares expense reports for executives
- →Prepares routine and advanced correspondence, including letters, memoranda, and reports
- →Prepares non-disclosure agreements and supporting logs for confidential projects
- →Establishes, develops, maintains, and updates filing
- →Assist on special projects when needed
- →Regular and reliable attendance is required.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of seven (7) years of executive assistant experience required.
- Excellent PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner.
- Self-starter, requiring little supervision.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency.
- Based on business needs, the ability to work on a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, as approved in advance.

- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to successfully write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors, and the public.
- Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and correct errors. Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
AMSURG offers paid time off, 9 observed holidays, and paid family leave. You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.
