The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and office operations of the Gainesville Administration Building. This position supports accounting, purchasing, inventory, employee needs, office services, and communication between the office and plant. The Office Manager ensures that office processes are accurate, organized, and completed in a timely manner while providing administrative support to management and employees.
Responsibilities

- → Match poultry receiving records to vendor invoices, enter invoices, and coordinate payments.
- → Prepare shortweight and purchasing reports, and work with plant personnel to research and resolve variances.
- → Calculate, review, and reconcile product yields.
- → Maintain and reconcile freezer inventory records.
- → Provide administrative and office support for the Gainesville and Cumming locations as needed, including coverage during employee absences.
- → Order and maintain office supplies and ensure adequate inventory of necessary office materials.
- → Schedule and coordinate office and office equipment repairs and maintenance services.
- → Track, maintain, and balance petty cash.
- → Assist employees with general office-related questions and help coordinate IT support when needed.
- → Maintain organized office records, reports, and documentation.
- → Coordinate the flow of paperwork between the office and plant.
- →Coordinate security access and distribute keys, badges and entry codes.
- →Assist with coordinating meetings and holiday meals as requested.
- → Deliver and retrieve paperwork from the plant and post office on a daily basis.
- → Assist management and other departments with administrative projects and special assignments as needed.
- → Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, vendor, and financial information.
- → Perform other duties as assigned.
- → High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or administrative experience preferred.
- → Previous office management, administrative, accounting, or related experience preferred.
- → Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- → Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- → Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- → Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- → Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- → Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within established guidelines.
- → Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- → Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily plant and post office errands.
- →Some evening, weekend and holiday hours may be required occassionally.
