We are inviting experienced Technical Office Managers to register their interest for future opportunities across major marine and coastal infrastructure projects in the Middle East and the UAE.
The projects are expected to include complex marine and coastal developments requiring experienced engineering leaders to oversee technical office operations, engineering coordination, planning, methods, and construction support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and manage the Technical Office, providing direction to marine engineering, methods, and planning teams throughout project delivery
• Coordinate technical office activities to ensure engineering deliverables support project objectives, construction schedules, and marine execution requirements
• Allocate resources, establish priorities, and monitor the performance of technical office teams
• Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of shop drawings, technical submittals, engineering documentation, and construction deliverables for marine construction projects
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities to ensure technical consistency and compliance with project requirements
• Manage technical deliverables related to marine piling, quay walls, breakwaters, jetties, dredging works, and other coastal infrastructure packages
• Ensure engineering solutions consider geotechnical conditions, bathymetric information, hydrodynamic requirements, and construction constraints
• Coordinate closely with Marine Methods Engineers and Marine Planning Engineers to ensure construction methodologies, sequencing, marine logistics, and project schedules remain fully aligned
• Support the implementation of engineering solutions that facilitate safe and efficient marine construction activities
• Monitor engineering deliverables to ensure timely support for project execution
• Act as the primary technical interface between the Technical Office and Construction Management teams
• Work closely with Marine Design Engineers to resolve technical challenges and support practical, buildable engineering solutions during project execution
• Ensure construction teams receive approved engineering information, coordinated drawings, and technical support required for field execution
• Facilitate communication between engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to maintain project continuity
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Coastal Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading Technical Office teams within contractor organizations, with significant experience in marine construction projects
• Between 60% and 70% of your professional experience gained within main contractor organizations
• Proven technical management experience on marine projects within the United Arab Emirates and/or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Experience managing technical office functions for major marine construction projects involving marine piling, dredging, quay walls, breakwaters, jetties, and other coastal infrastructure works
• Strong understanding of shop drawings, technical submittals, engineering coordination, marine construction methodologies, and project planning
• Good understanding of geotechnical interfaces, bathymetric data, hydrodynamic conditions, and marine construction requirements
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the design and construction process
• Familiarity with Primavera (P6) and MS Project within project planning environments
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent technical coordination and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple engineering disciplines within complex marine construction environments
