Bartels Pet Hospital is a well-established, three-doctor practice built on exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service, and we’re looking for a Client Care superstar to join us as our next Veterinary Receptionist.

Flexible scheduling to support a healthy work-life balance
Monday – Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays, plus a mix of 6-hour and 10-hour shifts
Occasional coffee runs, ice cream parties, and meals on us
A well-established, three-doctor practice where your client service makes a real difference

Greet clients and patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out
Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently and accurately
Invoice accurately and process client payments
Communicate with clients in a friendly, professional way, in person and by phone
Update client and patient records and relay messages to the medical team
Handle prescription and food refill requests
Coordinate with doctors and technicians to keep the day running smoothly
Support clients with compassion during emotional moments, including end-of-life visits

Customer service experience; veterinary receptionist or front desk experience is a plus but not required
A friendly, professional, and upbeat communication style
Strong organization and attention to detail, especially with scheduling and payments
Comfort with computers and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Compassion for pets and the people who love them
A team-first attitude that fits our “better together” culture
Availability Monday – Friday and on rotating Saturdays
