Position Summary
Ottenweller is seeking a dependable and motivated Facilities Coordinator to help maintain a clean, safe, and functional manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for janitorial services, facility upkeep, grounds maintenance, and supporting basic building maintenance activities to ensure efficient daily operations.

Essential Responsibilities

Clean and maintain production areas, offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common spaces.

Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.

Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.

Perform routine building maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs, replacing HVAC filters, and making minor repairs.

Assist with preventative maintenance activities and facility improvement projects.

Identify and report maintenance, safety, or building concerns.

Maintain exterior grounds and perform seasonal cleanup, mowing, trimming, and snow removal.

Operate cleaning equipment, lawn equipment, forklifts, and other assigned equipment safely.

Support production departments with general labor tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Manufacturing experience preferred.

Janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance experience preferred.

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical & Work Environment
Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Frequent exposure to manufacturing environments, moving mechanical parts, heat, fumes, airborne particles, and varying weather conditions while working outdoors. Hearing protection and other required PPE must be worn in designated areas.
