Geneva is a UNICEF headquarters location situated at the heart of the international humanitarian, diplomatic, and multilateral community. In the context of UNICEF's Future Focus Initiative, the Geneva Common Services Centre (CSC) operates within a streamlined structure following the relocation of a number of positions and functions to other duty stations. Despite its reduced footprint, the Geneva CSC continues to play an important role in providing common operational support services to UNICEF Divisions and Offices based across multiple locations in Geneva, in addition to supporting senior-level engagements involving UNICEF management, Member States and partners.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Administrative and Finance Officer (P2), the Administrative Assistant is responsible for executing a broad variety of procedural and specialized Administrative tasks for Geneva Common Services requiring in-depth knowledge of UNICEF Administrative procedures, processes and policies.

Admin Assistant_G5
Minimum requirements:
- Education: Completion of Secondary Education is required.
- Work Experience: A minimum 5 years of relevant administrative work experience is required. Demonstrated experience in facilities management, premises administration, office services coordination and property/assets administration is required. Experience in facilities, premises and space management, including supporting logistics for conferences and meetings and events is required. Experience managing multiple administrative service requests and stakeholder priorities in HQ, Regional Office, large country office or a shared services center is required.
- A valid driving license and a safe driving record are required. Experience providing official driving support in a professional or organizational setting is required, in accordance with applicable organizational safety, security, and vehicle-use requirements. and any other related fields.
- Skills: Experience and skills using ERP systems related to asset management, procurement, budget are required.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English and in French is required.
Desirables:
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
- Experience in invoice processing, vendor payment follow-up and meeting/conference servicing, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with OASIS, SharePoint or comparable systems is an asset.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
