Work Control Administrative Assistant (supporting NASA)

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Work Control Administrative Assistant to support our Prime NASA ROME contract at Wallops Flight Facility.   General knowledge of facilities shop operations and maintenance. Maintain shop’s work orders by entering log notes, failure reporting entries and completing work orders in Maximo. Responsible for work order receipt, processing, routing, maintenance of current work order status in Maximo. Performs as internal quality control monitor of work order status and labor in Maximo. Evaluates each call, exercise independent judgement regarding call and determines need to dispatch personnel to respond to call according to urgency. Obtain required quotes needed to perform related work and enter purchase requisitions as requested by shop supervisors using Maximo. Organize incoming work orders according to priority. Assist with dispatching technicians as needed. Verify hours worked, work performed, and record time in Maximo. Maintain records for operation and maintenance shops. Proficient in Maximo software. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Deltek Costpoint and other related software. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability and proficiency working with Maximo software. Education/Experience: BS/BA plus 0 – 2 years of experience or equivalent.
