Document Controller

The Document Controller will support the project delivery team by managing, tracking, and controlling all project documentation across the lifecycle of a large-scale data centre project. The role is critical in ensuring documents are accurate, up to date, compliant, and issued in line with project deadlines and client requirements.

• →Establish and maintain the project document control system in line with company and client procedures
• →Ensure all documents are correctly version-controlled and stored in the appropriate locations
• →Monitor document workflows to ensure timely review, approval, and submission in line with project deadlines
• →Track and report on document status, including overdue items, and proactively follow up with stakeholders
• →Maintain document registers, trackers, and logs (e.g. drawings, RFIs, submittals, O&M manuals)
• →Support the project team with document retrieval and ensure easy access to current information.
• →Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure document compliance and consistency
• →Ensure all documentation meets project standards, naming conventions, and quality requirements
• →Assist with the preparation and compilation of handover documentation and final project documents
• →Support audits by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and readily accessible
