Design for Test Engineer, Lund

Are you a curious person with a broad technical interest? We are now looking for a Design for Test Engineer to join our Fixed Dome Industrialization Production and Test team in Lund. A role where you will be part of our development projects, cooperating with other disciplines to ensure a smooth and well-functioning production flow.

The Industrialization Production & Test teams are responsible for Axis production flow, which includes defining and developing all steps from post Printed Circuit Board Assembly to a fully assembled Axis product.

You will be part of a diverse and experienced team with Design for Test Engineers, PCBA Test Design engineers and Design for Production Engineers with many opportunities to influence your personal development as well as the direction of the team. In your role as a Design for Test engineer you secure all production tests except PCBA test. You work in close cooperation with colleagues from our operations organization and project team members from R&D. You integrate different test solutions developed by the Production Platform teams and you participate in the development projects from the early concept phase to mass production. More precisely your role includes: 

• →Plan and implement the production test system and in cooperation with your colleagues ensure that the test flow is optimized and with the right quality level
• →Integrate hardware and software into our production test systems
• →Configure test sequences in National Instruments TestStand 
• →Secure test hardware for various prototype builds, both internal and at production partners

We believe that you are curious and have a methodical approach to structuring your work and solving problems. You enjoy a fast-paced environment and are not afraid of making changes and trying new methods and approaches. You have a broad technical interest and prefer to work with all aspects of a product rather than deep diving into specific areas or details.

• We welcome applications from both junior and experienced engineers
• We believe that you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• You have at least basic knowledge in software development
• An interest in troubleshooting, bug finding and repeated verification is considered a strong advantage.
• Previous experience from National Instruments TestStand is considered as a bonus

The position includes some travel, where you typically visit our production sites to set up the production systems (Approximately 30 days per year).
