Requirements
~1 min read- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an ABET‑accredited university
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
- Experience with design and/or integration of RF systems or subsystems, with an understanding of associated manufacturing and test processes
- Team leadership experience with responsibility for cost, schedule, and/or technical execution
- Must hold an active U.S. Secret clearance with the ability to maintain clearance eligibility. U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with Raytheon manufacturing processes and procedures
- Mechanical design and analysis expertise, including trade studies, detailed design, production transition, and supplier support
- Experience with CAD systems such as Solidworks, CREO, or NX
- Experience with Engineering Data Management Software such as CommonPDM, EPDM, or Windchill
- Advanced problem‑solving skills, including reliability/failure analysis and development of technical white papers
- Experience with electronics packaging design and integration
- Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and tolerance analysis
- Engineering project management experience, including EVMS/EAC oversight and proposal leadership

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Supervise a section of 10–15 Mechanical and/or Multi‑disciplined Engineers
- →Provide technical expertise in support of program efforts and proposal activities, including proposal development (BOEs), EVMS/EAC tracking, and Risk and Opportunity management
- →Design, test, integrate, and document the mechanical design of Raytheon hardware systems, supporting electronics, and subsystems
- →Provide technical oversight to ensure work products meet cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements
- →Maintain section capabilities to ensure programs are adequately staffed
- →Engage with team members on performance and career development
- →Support recruitment and personnel retention efforts
