Responsibilities

As a Business Office Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

  • →Patient Check-In/Check-Out: Greet patients, manage appointments, and ensure accurate registration
  • →Insurance & Payments: Verify insurance coverage, collect co-pays, post payments, and prepare daily deposit reports
  • →Chart Management: Review charts for accuracy and completeness, prepare for next-day services
  • →Cash Handling: Create and balance cashier reports, ensure accuracy in daily reconciliation
  • →Team Support: Assist clinical staff and help maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office
  • Brings professionalism and empathy to every patient interaction
  • Can multitask without missing the details
  • Thrives in a team but works independently when needed
  • Keeps calm and collected in a fast-paced medical office
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Working knowledge of Epic (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion
  • Ability to multitask and remain flexible throughout the day
