Patient Financial Receptionist

The Patient Financial Receptionist serves as a liaison between patients and the billing office for TriState Health, and upholds the office environment in a smoothly functioning, well organized manner. ln addition to maintaining clerical and customer service duties, this individual's responsibilities include assisting billers as needed to ensure the timely and accurate completion of bills, as well as supporting enhanced billing processes by compiling and providing the necessary information and materials to billers.
High school diploma or equivalent required; College coursework or degree preferred.
Previous experience working in customer service; 1-3 years of experience working in a medical office or similar environment preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with relevant hospital software applications, along with standard office
- Equipment and PC software; Experience in operating multi-line phone systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with third-party billing procedures
- Ability to work well both with others and independently
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities effectively
- Exhibits punctuality, dependability, and flexibility
- Displays friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal and customer service skills
